I wrote recently about our trip to the Natural History Museum to view the glorious Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, what I failed to share with you all is where we went for sustenance beforehand. How remiss of me! As everyone who has ever visited a museum or exhibition knows you definitely need sustenance. So Brunch at Coco Momo beforehand was definitely essential.
I’d never heard of Coco Momo but I’m so glad we went there – it was perfect. Not only was the food delicious but we were also there early enough that it wasn’t jam-packed. Meaning we could take as much time as we wanted and also hear ourselves think – always a brunch bonus! We were seated in a booth just opposite the pass so we’re able to sneak a peek at everyone else’s orders before we made our decisions!
Unsurprisingly we all went for scrumptious coffees, with a mix of iced coffees and cappucinos being chosen, all of which were just perfect! Food wise two of us opted for the egg and mushroom toast (above) which was sublime, this picture really doesn’t do it justice!, and Lau went for the eggs. Everything was so delicious and I definitely need to go back soon to try some more of the yummy stuff. As we were leaving the staff were having their lunch and if the smell of their pasta dishes were anything to go by I won’t be disappointed!

If you’ve never been to brunch at Coco Momo then I highly recommend you get there asap. It really is a gorgeous restaurant. The high ceilings give a real sense of calm and elegance and the decor is traditional yet glossy. Also the fact that one family was playing a mega game of scrabble for 90 minutes hidden in the back surely makes it a go to place!
Where’s your go-to brunch place in London? Do let me know as I always love a recommendation!
