Let me introduce you to the beautiful illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. As soon as I knew that this book was planned I began anticipating its arrival. I was intrigued to see how Jim Kay, the illustrator, would interpret J.K. Rowling’s well-known, and well-loved, wizarding world.
Once I had my hands on this book I was not disappointed. Talk about gorgeous.
The illustrations throughout the book are just stunning and I don’t think I can pinpoint a favourite. Each time you turn a page there’s another glorious illustration to admire and study in minute detail.
Bring on the next six books I say.
