Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I hope you’ve got a wonderfully festive day planned and that you don’t have too much boring organising to do! We’re planning a day of puppy walks, Christmas wrapping, baking, board games and Christmas films, well once Lau finishes work anyway. Just perfect!
One of the things we’re going to ‘bake’ today are another batch of these scrumptious Christmas pudding krispies as they are so delicious. I say ‘bake’ when actually the oven isn’t really doing much baking when it comes to this recipe, but you know what I mean. If you’re still trying to find the perfect pudding or sweet treat for Santa, you might want to give these a go too as they’re super simple, look awesome and taste amazing.
All you need to do is melt four Mars bars with 50g butter. Mix in some rice crispies until they’re covered in chocolate and push into lined cupcake tins. Leave to set in the fridge for an hour before taking out the crispy cakes, turning them over and drenching (yes drenching) in melted white chocolate. Then decorate with mini smarties to get your berry decorations and pop back in the fridge until completely set.
